First Methodist Hospital

Noah went into room 214.
Paul was in there, hooked up. He was in a coma.
Noah sat at the chair next to the bed, sad.

Bell walked into the hospital with a frown. She asked one of the nurses where Paul's room was and she gave her the number. She walked into room 214, and bit her lip as soon as she saw him. Bell glanced at Noah and asked, her voice shaking "What happened to him?"

(Phantom? Was Paul hiding something from me?) Bell questioned herself. She sighed, as the lights dimmed then suddenly got brighter. She bit her lip, she better stop changing the lighting around here...

Noah was hit with the realization that Bell did not know.
Oh damn.
"By which I mean to say, they wanted his...Fanta."
Noah's lie was bad, but he hoped it worked..

She blinked, ((his fanta , well that's strange... never heard anyone hurting people for that but anything can happen I guess.)) she thought to herself with a sigh. She sat down in one of the chairs by Noah.

Noah looked at her.
"I gotta go. School night. Text me if you need me."

"Bye, Noah... I'll let you know if anything happens." Bell smiled.

Paul was inside his head.
"Where am I?" He muttered.
He looked around.
He didn't know a way to get out...
Except the Phantom.
But his ears had picked up sounds, and Bell was there.
Plus, if he possessed himself, he'd have to get out of his own body to go Phantom.

Bell watched Paul with a sigh. She took his hand in her's for awhile and silently wished he would be fine.

Paul laid there.
He was pushing, pushing, pushing.
To no avail.
"Damn."
He said.

"I know the feeling." Querrain said in a half sympathtic, half mocking voice. He looked around Paul`s mind with a disdainful look.
"Really now, Paul," he said, sneering slightly.
"I would have thought that your place would be at least HALF as nice as mine.." He gestured to the darkness around them.
"But, then again, you are YOU..."
He looked back at Paul with a mikdly amused smile.

Querrain shot a half-dirty look Paul's way.
"Language," he said in a disapproving way.
Querrain sighed, sitting down on a chair that formed out of nothing.
"I'm here, because..." Querrain thought about it for a moment.
"Because you wanted me to be here." He smiled in satisfaction at his answer.

"Then I can just as easily tell you to get the (another word for sex ending with UCK) out of here, now can't I?"
Paul, remembering that this was in fact HIS mind, and therefore he remained in control of it, deleted the chair.
It wasn't a victory, since Querrain could probably make another, but it still made Paul feel a little better.

Querrain didn't fall when the chair faded. In fact, he was in an upright position as though he'd never been sitting in the first place!
"Yeah, well..." Querrain gave him a meaningful look.
"You ARE the one who wanted me here. And if you want me gone SO bad, then I would have been gone the second you saw me, yes?" Querrain flashed Paul a smug look, that instantly replaced with a mysterious but subdued smile.
"Anywho, who IS your decorator?" He scoffed in a fun way. "I'd REALLY like to get my hands on him.." He want on, mumbling to himself with a far-off look.

Paul shot Querrain the finger.
"I don't have anything to say to you, and I don't know how to get rid of you."
"Besides, if you want to go all "Queer eye" on something, why don't you go to the LGBT parade?"
Paul turned away from Querrain, refusing to acknowledge him.

Querrain rolled his eyes. "Geez, if you want to poke fun at me, the name is the first thing to do!" Querrain reformed the chair, only this time there was a desk in front of him.
He held up a piece of paper that said 'Querrain: Noun, verb.'

"Why don't you just go away? Or do I need some help?"
"Israfel!" He said, sending a request.

Querrain glanced around.
"I'm not seeing him," he remarked. He set the bit of paperdown, then rested his head on his hands.
"So." Querrain looked up at him. "Why did you call me here?" Querrain shifted his hands slightly.
"Because I don't much care for being yanked out of one domain and being tossed into the next.."

"The door's right there." Paul said, and thankfully one popped up.
Paul refused to answer the question, because he honestly didn't know.

Querrain raised an eyebrow as the door appeared then faded.
"Yeaahh.. I would simply LOVE to leave, so, could you just make that door come back?"

JD and Dina walked into Paul's hosptial room.

Paul made the door appear, and focused on it that time.
It opened, letting a white beam of light come through.
"What the hello?" Paul said, going over to the door, and opening it.

Querrain nodded. "Uh-huh. OK!" He walked over to stand next to Paul.
"Open the damn thing already!" he snapped, looking down at him.

Paul slammed it shut.
It showed his...desires and weaknesses.
The door disappeared.
He opened a new door, and it was a way out.
But the only way out was for Querrain to transfer minds with someone other than Paul.
A nurse leaned over Paul, checking his blood pressure.
Then, when she left, a doctor came in.
A blue light jumped from Paul's hand to the doctor's.
"There. Just go into the doc's mind. But I have to warn you. It may make you possess his mind. If that happens, let go of his mind, and it will let you out. Or just stay in there forever. I don't give a damn."

"Ma'am, I have to warn you. If-" The doctor checked the sheet
"Paul here doesn't wake up soon, he may not ever."
((That was paul talking, this post was the doctor.))

Bell looked up at him "What? No that's impossible," She whispered, her voice broken

OCC: Oh you have no clue how much I wanted to make it one of my depressing scenes... I'm much too good at those...

Querrain had begun to snicker when Paul opened the first door. He protested when Paul closed it. "Oh, come on, it was JUST getting to the GOOD part!"

Dina (OOC: let's just say JD and she walked in just now) said, "What's impossible?", a concerned look on her usually smiling face.
