Finding things out for a change.

The man raised an eyebrow to the cat.
"HellOOO, now. That's not what you really look now, is it? You're not fooling me."

"That's trrrue. But I would rather change in the house, if you don't mind."

Catherine laughed.
"Wow," She commented.

The man didn't bat an eye.
"Fine by me."
He looked at Catherine.
"Yeah, you're OK too. Come on in."
The inside of the house was mainly colored lavender and gold, it had a very unnatural look.
It was round.
There was a strange, quiet vibrating noise.
All around, there was stairs leading to Lord-knows-where, and in the middle of the large, circular room, was a round console. In the middle of that console was a round glass tube that glowed in the middle.
"Welcome, or should I say, welcome back?"
This was directed to the cat.

Catherine nodded and walked in and just looked around. She didn't even know who this guy was.

The cat blurred, then Xavier, a man, now straightened up.
"Yes, to the latter. It's good to see you again, or, to meet you."

The man nodded.
"Yeah. First time, millionth time. I can see that all."
He went and fiddled with the console a little.
"You like her?"

Xavier smiled as he looked around the room.
"Definitely. She's gorgeous right now. You changed her look, you know. Later."
He looked the man dead in the eye.
"Haley. Will you help?"

Catherine listened to the conversation but did nothing. She looked around silently and heard Xavier say Haley.
"Who's Haley?" she asked

"That'd be me," said the man.
"Haley Regenleid, at your service and your family's." He bowed to Catherine, then looked back at Xavier.
"Do I really need to? As far as I can see, I'm going to help you too many times."

Xavier gave out a long, annoyed sigh.
"Haley... You know it's gonna be for good reasons. AND, you'll owe me."

Catherine nodded, and blushed, embarressed for not picking that up.
Catherine knew they reffering to the future, so she didn't say much, since she didn't know a thing about the future

Haley gave Xavier a look, but closed his eyes for a few moments.
"Yeah..." He opened his eyes. "I guess. Fine. BUT:"
He interupted Xavier.
"Only so much."

Xavier had been a little embarressed at Haley's previous double-question.
He had been referring to both Catherine and the ship, and Xavier's answer had referred to both as well.
"Why only so much?"

Catherine stood there in puzzlement.
"So what are we trying to accomplish here?" Catherine asked, trying to understand what Xavier was asking for

"Come on, Cammy, you know the rules! I can only help you so much, lest the council gets sicced on me."
He thought about this.
"Though, they wouldn't dare. They know things."
Haley looked at Catherine.
"I can see time. My people can see time. And there's rules. 'Xavier' wants me to help him escape this place."

"ANNND, you can only help 'so-much'?"
Xavier suddenly thought of something.
"The 'first' time I meet you: do you remember this?"

Haley shook his head.
"Not for a long time, old friend."

Catherine just kinda stood there, becoming almost unnoticable. She couldn't get all that involved in the concersation anyway

Haley studied Catherine for a moment, then shook his head.
"Right."
He leaned in to whisper into Xavier's ear.
"You need to see him. Before you leave."

Xavier's eyes widened as he pulled back.
He shook his head.
"No."
He turned on heel, grabbing Catherine's hand in a strong hold.
"We're gone."

Haley watched this with an understanding look.
"Yeah... I'd be nervous too."

Catherine looked around confused.
"What?" she whispered. She looked back at Haley and studied him for the few seconds possible then turned back to Xavier with confusion.

Now outside of the 'house', Xavier lead Catherine to the car which had somehow followed them.
"He's just... There's some days, that I HATE Time Lords."
He dropped her hand, then looked at the car.
"Johnson?"
The door opened.
"Thank you."
He looked at Catherine.
"After you?"

Catherine smiled.
"Why thank you," and she sat down in the car, thinking about the past minute or so.

Father Time appeared.
"Ah, Haley. My favorite organism of my favorite creation." He said.

(That would make sense, seeing as Father Time is time, and Haley is a Time Lord..)

Haley scowled at Father Time.
It was like seeing the guy nude!
In other words, Haley could see everything about this guy WAY too easily.
Haley's scowl faded.
"Your creation? As far as I'm concerned, you didn't do NOTHING, seeing as we exist outside of time and space... How'd you get in here, anyways? This is a TARDIS. (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space)."

Father Time smiled.
"Ah, Haley, you've convinced yourself you know so much, even though most of the world passes you by. I was here to watch history in creation, but I was seeing something new." Father Time said, grimacing.
"But I can't reverse time. Basically, those two brought me here."
"Be careful with your actions, Haley, and remember-things are not always as them seem or are said." Father Time said, and disappeared.

Catherine looked back out the car window, seeing a strange man now standing there. She wondered who he was.

Xavier paid no mind to anything.
"Johnson," he said.

The car beeped. "Yes?"

Xavier smiled faintly.
"Let's go back."
