Finding things out for a change.

A small cat and a woman got out of a car.

Catherine exited a car and waited for the cat to guide her.

The cat grinned at the not-driver in the front.
There wasn't one, but an image of a man's face on the dashboard smiled back.
Xavier hopped out of the car, landing neatly next to Catherine.
"Right," the cat said, his voice almost devoid of emotion except for a slight hint of smugness.
"I'm going to walk behind you. I'll tell you where to go?"

Catherine was taken aback once again when the cat began to talk.
"The cat can talk?" She asked incredulously.

Xavier laughed.
"I can talk either way. Four hundred years of practice, I should hope so!"
He butted his furry head against the back of Catherine's leg.
"Can you walk forward now please?"

Catherine laughed.
"Okay," She took a right just as the cat instructed.
"May I ask where we are headed?" She asked politely.

"To see someone I haven't met yet," he said all mysterious like.
He had a grin on his kitty-face.

Catherine laughed.
"Ooh, a mystery!" Catherine smiled. Then she saw the cat smile. It looked funny. She never imagined how a cat's smile would look... it looked different.

OOC: It's beyond different, it's SCARY FUNNY.

IC: Xavier chuckled, but it sounded more like a hiccup purr.
"Not really. I met the man while I was just a kid... barely 3 years old."

OOC: Yes, it is. That combination always adds up to a scary sum lol

IC: "Well I bet you don't remember him all that well then." Catherine pointed out.
"Why are you taking me to see him, anyway?" Catherine asked out of curiosity.

Xavier's purr was even louder now.
"I was that age, TECHNICALLY. I was the physical age of 17."

Catherine could hear his purring. She wondered why. He still ignored her question, but she decided to let it go.
"Well then I guess you would remember him then." She laughed a little.

The cat nodded.
"Naturrrrally. Turn left here."

Catherine burst out in laughter. She took a left while laughing.
"Wow, you had to do that naturally thing didn't you?" She asked through her laughter.

"Yes, I did."
Xavier kept looking at the buildings.
"Now, frrom what he told me, he lived in one of these 'ouses when he was prretty young too. His mum insisted on it."

Catherine laughed a little.
"Alright, so how do we decide which one he lives in?" She asked.

The cat did a weird thing.
He crouched very slightly, mid-walk, his shoulders raising a little higher.
He had shrugged.
"Something about a blue box being in the drrriveway occasionally?"

Catherine laughed again.
"What was that supposed to be?" She asked with a laugh.
"I guess we are looking for a blue box then.."

Xavier slightly nipped the back of Catherine's leg.
"There."
He pointed with his paw.

Catherine felt a small nip on the back of her leg.
A nip? Catherine thought.
"Mkay," She walked towards it.
"Am I supposed to knock on the door?" She asked Xavier.

Xavier bounded in front.
"I dunno... I don't know what he looks like right now... His face changes occasionally."
He padded up the porch.
The house was gray, with many windows.
The front door, however, was a crazy orange.
Xavier looked up at Catherine.
"What do you think?"

Catherine looked down at Xavier.
"How should I know?" Catherine said in reply then looked at the crazy orange door.
"Should I?" She asked.

Xavier did a cat-shrug again.
"Don't look at me, I'm just a cat!"
He sat, thinking.
"Four hundred years, and I'm arguing about who should knock on a door!"

"Fine, I'll do it. I'm human anyways." Catherine laughed.
"And I am just going to tell you how goofy your shrug looks." Catherine smiled.
She took a deep breath and knocked on the door, hoping for the best.

A man with tanned skin and blonde hair opened the door.
"...Hello?"

Catherine shot Xavier a look.
"Hi, um.."

Xavier's ears pricked up.

OOC: Modifyed the previous post.

IC: The man shifted slightly.
"Yeah? Can I help you?"

Xavier walked up, staying a paces behind Catherine.

"Um yeah, we were um.." She looked towards Xavier for some help.

OOC: I don't know who we are really talking to so I am improvising with Catherine lol
