Memories to be Forgotten [open]

Catherine walked stiffly to the small, vandalized, and aged grave stone. She kicked it, with force. It hurt her toe a little but she didn't care, she felt as though it needed to be done. Hate filled her eyes as she watched the grave slowly fall backwards. It made a thud and the dirt was stirred. Weeds had begun to grow along the grave and along with them came those weedy flowers. Cathy knelt to the ground, and ripped them right from the ground, roots and all. She tossed them to the ground in anger and again kicked the gravestone. The man that it belonged to deserved no honor or beauty. He deserved hatred and anger. At least that's what she thought.
Cathy sighed with clenched teeth as a tear slowly trickled down her face. She quickly wiped it away but another fell.
