That Freakin' Huge Monster!!!

"Where to?" Paul asked, doing corkscrews in the air.
Noah was just watching ahead, not having the hang on flying yet.

Lady Luck vanishes to nowheresville leaving behind her signature silver smoke

"BLAST!"Fear Monger yells, having just missed Lady Luck. He wanted to find Querrain and Chaos.

"The Shattered Bandshell..." JD murmured.

"What the HELL?!?!" JD yelled, seeing Monger.

"Dude, why do you want to go eat at the Bandshell?"
-After the WHAT THE HELL!?-
"What?!" Paul asked.
But before Paul or Noah saw Monger, he disappeared.

"Okaay..." FireDawn turned from where Monger had been.
"JD meant that we get some form of take-out, and we eat at the Bandshell."
Dina looked at JD.

JD, still refusing to meet FD's gaze, nodded in agreement to what she had said.

"Okay." He said.
((Fear Monger has a horrible grudge against Spirits and Halfbreeds(Half angel/half demons. So who does he hate?))
"Pizza!" Noah said, flying down to streetlevel.

JD looked down at Noah. "Idiot." he spat, flying down and yanking Noah up to a higher flying level, ABOVE the Mack Truck.

"Watch out!" Noah said, but he had already grabbed him and it was going to hurt a little bit, because Noah was energized.
"Someone needs to switch to decaf.." Paul said to Dina.

Dina (pronounced Dee-nah) snickered. "Yeah.. But JD's power isn't energy based, so he should be OK."
She looked at Paul. "And his power acts like a sort of shield, so, you know..."

After JD had pulled Noah up high enough, he let go of him, saying (shouting), "Are you TRYING to get yourself KILLED?"
JD looked at his hand as it healed from 3rd degree burns.
"You ought to be able to control; yourself!" he snapped, not referring to the burn, but how reckless Noah had been.

Noah looked down.
"S-s-sorry."
"Dude, lay off. He's a kid." Paul said, and then remembered that there were only 7 years between him and Noah.

Dina winced when JD began to bawl out Noah, but she knew that he really only got SERIOUSLY mad was when he had been frightened... Which was a secret she would take to her grave.

"I wouldn't try to interfere.." she warned Paul.

JD was FAR from finished.
"REALLY now! If you're SERIOUS about being in this line of work, you HAVE TO USE YOUR HEAD!" JD turned away from him, rising back up to where FD and Paul were.

"Yeah, because I've been known to back off so easily." Paul said, sarcastically.
Noah had an extreme feeling of deja vu. He was reminded of Phil, his stepfather.
Paul looked past Noah, and saw Monger.
"Whoa.." Paul said.
((At this point Monger is in spirit form, therefore only visible to Paul and JD.))
"I didn't ask for these powers.." Noah said, and then floated to a nearby roof. He sat against a Air Conditioner, his head in his hands.
Paul looked at Monger, but then Monger disappeared.
Then he looked at Noah. Then back at JD.

FireDawn felt sorry for Noah, and the worse part was, was that she was the reason that JD was so upset.

"Jd.." she reached out to him.

JD had seen Monger as well and had shot him a look.
"Don't touch me!" he snapped at FireDawn, moving away from her.

Noah stayed there, silent. The tears were already gone. Now he was just there. Whatever. He would just go home and never use his powers again. He didn't even want to be a superhero anyway.

Paul looked at FireDawn, then JD. Then Noah, but Paul was NOT going over there. He wasn't good at talking..to emotional people.
"Somebody's PMSing." He said.
He looked back at Noah, who was already gone. Probably home.
"I'll see you two later."
Paul floated to the inside of a store restroom-after making sure no one was inside, and changed human.
He walked from the restroom, planning on going to Burger King.

JD slowly looked up, seeing Paul leave, then half-looked over his shoulder at FireDawn (not really looking at her..)

"Messed up, didn't I." he muttered.

Noah flew towards his house, tired and stressed. He was going to have to hurry, he was already almost about to fall.
((Muy perfecto time for Fear Monger/other baddies to take him!))
Fear Monger shot Noah with a tranquilizer dart, and grabbed him.
Off to hold people ransom...

"You think?!" she snapped, soaring away from him, follwing Paul.
(Her civies were stashed on a building nearby)
When she was dressed, she waited outside of the store.

Paul wasn't walking very fast, and he saw Dina.
"Hey." He said.
"Burger King?" It was a statement, but he said it as a question.
Then he got a tingle. Like something bad was happening.

"Yeah, sure." Dina then noticed the look on Paul's face.
"What's wrong?"

"I don't know. I THINK I can show you." He put one of his fingers on her unclothed hand.
It flashed through him.
The bad feeling, as if something bad was happening.

Dina shivered as the ominous feeling ran through her.
"Something's going down?" she asked nervously.

"I don't know. The only people I've ever emphatically connected with are you, JD, and Noah...and you and JD are okay."
His eyes widened with panic.
"Noah!" He said.
He closed his eyes.
Flashes of what had happened to Noah floated through his head.
His finger was still on her hand, so she saw it too.
Some guy in armor had taken Noah..then blackness.

"That ain't good!" she exclaimed. "What do we do?"

JD had heard the sounds of a very slight scuffle, and had smelled fear-scent, and decided to follow it.
"Noah.." he murmured to himself. "That idiot got himself caught."
JD was feeling a little guilty about bawling the kid out like that..
Despite his appearance, in reality, JD had only just turned 19 himself, and was also prone to make mistakes..
*Maybe I should apologize..* he thought.
