running from a fight

whuf and Catherine appeared.
Whuf looked behind him, to where Cathy was.
"Don't feel bad. He's experienced. And angry."

Catherine smiled, her breathing a little irregular.
"Thanks, I only have weather, which can only do so much when you have someone with light and darkness altogether." Catherine felt a little embarrassed for doing so terribly, especially in front of Whuf, who is probably pretty skilled. He had to save her from the fight...
She ran through the fight in her mind and one thing caught her mind. He called her dear. Catherine suddenly felt even more embarrassed, but she made sure it didn't show through.

Whuf shrugged.
"Like I said, he's angry. Lost his little girlfriend. My fault, of course, but what can you do?"
He sat on a stone ledge.
"He's been in this business since he was 9."

"Whoa, that's a while." Catherine looked surprised.
"You killed Dina? That was awesome." She grinned, remembering the incident.

Whuf shook his head.
"Not directly. Had one of my little minions do it. Younger heroes are easier to manipulate. Not this boy, though."

Catherine nodded.
"He's solid I guess," Catherine stated.
"Good move though, Dina always got on my nerves."

"Hmm..."
Whuf gestured for her to sit next to him.
"Dina was OK. She kept Switch in line, what with his changes and all."
He sighed.
"Ah, Mage. He's eager to please."

Catherine sat down, as he gestured.
"Yeah, Dina was a good hero, but she disgusted me. And Mage, yes, I can agree with you on that one. But he can't make everyone happy..."

Whuf looked at Cathy.
"Do you two have a history?"

OOC: Should I make them have a history?

OOC: Only if you want to.

OOC: Sure, what the hay lol

IC: "Well, it wasn't very long... it was more like a month maybe. It didn't work because we didn't really act the same, have the same ways really. He was always trying to please me, along with everyone else and he didn't realize that he just couldn't do it." Catherine sighed, not knowing how she even liked him.

Whuf raised an eyebrow.
"He seemed a wholesome hero. Guess not."
He laughed.
"Of course, he works for me now." he looked back at Cathy.
"Cathy - can I call you that? - how old are you?"
He had asked this in a casual way, non-intrusive like.

"Yeah, sure. I'm 21." Cathy said openly. She didn't really care if he knew her age.
"He was a wholesome hero, he's just too giving and gullible."

Whuf laughed softly, but his appearance changed ever so slightly from a younger teen to a man in his twenties.
"Yeah, well... I'm a little older than that."
He thought about something random.
"You know, everyone is freaking out about me walking around free and all.."

Noah landed.
He wasn't energized, but was in his costume.
(Which looks so lame but fits his character:

Whuf looked up at Noah.
"Huh."

Cathy smiled.
"Eh, they should be worried about us walking around free. We're that dangerous" Catherine smiled, thinking about what damage could be done.
"Who are you?" Cathy asked.

"Nitro." Noah said.
(OOC:I know, it isn't original, but it totally fits his power!)

"Nitro? Interesting..."

Whuf patted Cathy's arm, then walked up to 'Nitro'.
"Hero or Villain?"

Nitro looked at Whuf.
"I hear you're the head honcho when it comes to villains."

"And actually, that's what I'm here to talk to you about. I want to be a villain."

Cathy's stomach flipped upside down for a second but Cathy held it down. Cathy listened intently to the conversation.

Whuf drew back slightly, surprised.
"Really? They say that about me?"
He looked a little closer at Nitro.
"Hey... I recognize you! You're that kid that nearly fried Switch and FireDawn with that zombie infestation. New Year's?"

Cathy laughed.
"Niiiiice," She commented.

"Yeah, that was me." Nitro said.
"About working for you.." Nitro said.

Man, this kid is serious... Cathy thought.

Whuf leaned a little closer to Noah.
"Riiigghhtt... Why?"

"Because I'm tired of all these so-called "heroes" putting us away because we see a higher purpose in life. Because we're tired of being just hated creatures while THEY-" Noah said that word with hate "Get to walk around all high and mighty. And they call US evil."

Cathy raised her eyebrows.
"You're sure?" She asked.
