Love? What's that?

Catherine knelt down, placing her head in her hands. What had happened to Whuf? Why hadn't she seen him in ages? Was he angry with her...? This upset her greatly, wondering if she had done something wrong. Catherine couldn't think of anything she thought that she could have done wrong, and she knew that she should give up on him but she knew there were lingering feelings. She thought that he had loved her.. or something along those lines. Maybe he hadn't, maybe he had been playing her the whole time.
Wait-Why was she even in a church?

"Isn't it a little sick of you...and me, for that matter....to be here?" Michael said, loving the pain Catherine felt.

"Yes, it is... I must say." Catherine said, brushing some of her pure black hair behind her ears, revealing her bright blue eyes that just stood out with her eye color. "I don't even know why I'm here.." She murmured, wondering if he knew why she was there. Michael just seemed to know things, and she didn't get it.

Michael stayed back. He was a man of fear, and he feared God. So he didn't let himself come into the light of the pews. "That's a very interesting thing. Why don't you know?" Michael said, with a mischevious smile. His eyes glew bright indigo.

"Because everything is just stupid. I just came to... sulk I guess... somehow ask for an answer. I don't know why... everybody keeps changing on me and I can't think." Cathy ran a hand through her hair, her face a bit closed and distant. Why she was telling Michael this, was beyond her own knowledge.

"Maybe it's because this is a dream.." Michael said, not meaning that at all.

"How the heck does that make sense?" Cathy asked with an arched brow, her face now showing her confusion. "If this was a dream, I'd just want someone to wake me up so I can start over and do everything different..." She said quietly.

"Life doesn't make sense.." Michael said, as he disappeared. He floated into Catherine's subconsious, not taking over, not even letting her know he was there. He was digging for dreams. Because he was about to die.

Cathy gulped, nodding, and ran a hand through her black hair again. She had no idea what to do... she just wished that something good would happen. Something that would make her smile again. She didn't care what it was, just something...
Anything.

Michael fell back, and felt it. A VISION. The soothsayers, his personal term, taken from "Julius Caesar", had the best potential. He felt the person with the vision. but then it disappeared. He stopped. He was sad. But next time, he'd take the boy's power, and live forever!

Cathy furrowed her brows, seeing Michael appear out of nowhere. "Well hello again..." She said with a half smile, but it was sort of fake.

Michael stood up, and dusted himself off. "Your answer lies in Alaska. In the coldest crater." He left, smiling.
He wondered if she'd really go.

"What the heck?" She suppressed her laugh a bit, wondering why the heck it would be in Alaska. "Alaska...? Yeah right..." She mumbled.
