Paul walked to the front door of JD's. It was exclusive, the one reason he knew of it was because he had been here once with JD and Dina. He pushed the button to ding the elevator. "Come on, JD, be home." Noah's dead. He's gone. 15 years old...and he's gone. Why did he have to die?
"I..I need to talk to you. Now. It's URGENT." Paul said, all joking in his voice gone, full seriousness, which let people know something horrible had happened.
JD 'pffted'. "I'm not even gonna ask how you know, but this isn't exact science, nor is it time travel. It's a different principle entirely. I don't endorse time travel."
Paul's eyes flared. "I don't care. People go around, when I possess, it never goes away, you know that. I may die, and that's okay, because Bell is strong enough to handle herself, but Noah is fifteen. I have to go in there. I have to TRY, because he actually means something to me. Death may not matter to you, but it means a HELL of a lot to me. So I'll ask again, will you give me this chance, or do I have to go and do something reckless?"
JD rolled his eyes. "I didn't mean that you'd DIE. It's inter-dimensional travel. Different worlds. That's all." JD scuffed a tired foot. "And, uh, I'm not even supposed to be." He sighed. "How the hell would you even intend to get him back? If you went through a portal, you MIGHT find another version of him.."
JD rolled his eyes again. "Whatever. But if I find out that you took a DIFFERENT Noah - and I'll know if you do - from a DIFFERENT world, not only will I kick your ass, but you'll end up in a prison that not even the Phantom can escape."
