Boredom...

Xavier nodded.
"Hmm... He stiffened suddenly.
"Oh, no..," he said softly.
"Here we go..."
He waggled his eyebrows at Catherine, an expression that was common in his family.
He stood.

Catherine cocked her head and then thought
Why does everyone waggle their eyebrows these days?
She stood up after Xavier, wondering what the problem was.

"What do you think of your family?" Xavier asked absentmindedly.

Catherine gulped.
"Do you really want to know? 'Cause my feelings towards them are pretty strong.." Catherine replied.

Xavier shrugged.
"Why not? There's a half of my family that you would hate. They're the kind that would kill a universe easily. Tell me."

IC: "Well, I absolutely hate them. My dad abused me, my mom wouldn't leave him. She 'loved' him and she 'knew that he loved her too' and just wouldn't leave. She was abused too. He pretty much abused everyone in sight. I ran away when I was about fourteen and just lived on the streets until I could get a decent enough of a job to get a house." Catherine sighed. She hated her past. It was just something that brought her down.

"I didn't have parents," Xavier said quietly.
"My brother did. He hid me from his parents."
He looked at nothing.
"His name was Xavier."
The man who had taken his brother's name walked out of the bar.

Catherine cocked her head once again and then followed Xavier out of the bar.
"You took your brother's name?" She asked.

Xavier shrugged.
"Sounds like it."
His skin began to move somehow.

Catherine's expression showed her puzzlement.
"Why did he hide you?" She asked.

Xavier didn't answer.
In his place was a little red-colored cat that fixed Catherine with a 'follow-me' look.

Catherine was taken aback when red cat appeared in front of her, in place of Xavier. It seemed to have that look that said "Follow me,". Catherine raised her eyebrows and decided that it couldn't hurt to follow the little cat.

The cat gave a Chesire-like grin, then padded off.
IF Catherine did follow, she would find that Xavier/the cat had entered a rather fancy car, and was waiting for her to get in.
IF she gets in, they would go to another town for a reason unknown to her.
IF she does not follow, Xavier will find her again later.
