Going into labor

Bell looked to Mark, worry showing int her eyes, "Why aren't they here yet?" she asked her voice panicky.

"It's a little hard to be chill Mark, considering my husband and best friend are off in La La land," She snapped a little.

The light flickered. "Bell, I say this as a friend, I WILL knock you out so you don't electrocute anyone...plus we don't know whether or not you powers affect the kids."

"I have my powers under control Mark, I'm perfectly fine." Bell murmured as the lights flickered, "or not..."

"Come on, Paul.." Mark muttered

"What's that supposed to mean?" Bell said with a soft glare

((Waps is like "Blah! I want to be apart of dis here story, it be makin me depressed!" so that's explaining the random phone call...))

"Of course I want him here Mark," Bell said confusion fluiding her voice.

"Why wouldn't I? He's my husband, of course I want him here," Bell said as she wondered where they were and what on earth was taking them so long.

"Mark hand me my cell phone," She asked quietly and he did because Mark is cool like that, she dialed a number, "Hey Josie..." She paused listening to her response,
"Um... you know how you said that you'd kinda be there if I needed you?" She paused.
"Well... this is one of those times, I'm kinda in labor... and my husband and Ruby are kinda... not here... I'm at the... Oh right you already know," Bell smiled, "Thanks Jo,"

Jo flipped her cell closed, threw it in her bag, and ran out the door. She ran down the stairs of the apartment so she would avoid other people on the elevator. To her relief the lobby was barely occupied, and she quickly made her way out.

Bell sighed, ending the called, the looked to a confused Mark, "I at least need one of my best friends here,"

The hospital was across town, and Jo had no car. She had to suck it up and take the public bus. It scared her, the thought of so many emotions, but she had no choice. She waited at the stop for less than a minute. The two people who got on with her both had similar emotions. Restlessness and Uncertainty. Or was that just her own emotions? She hesitated before getting on.
"Hey kid, in or out?" The driver said
"Ah," Jo said "In. Um, I need to get to the hospital. Fast"
"You sick?" He asked
I will be soon Jo thought, but instead, said "Sorta,"
"I'll do my best," He said, motioned for her to get on. She stepped into the bus, and paled when all the emotions flooded her. She sat in the front seat, behind the door and curled into fetal position and just clutched her head for the rest of the ride.
It was a relief to get off, the driver asked if she needed any help, but she said no, still recovering.

Bell sighed waiting, just waiting for everything, the babies, her family to begin, her friends surrounding her, and for the growing pain that her labor had become, to end. She clenched her teeth tightly as a contraction came, she shut her eyes and her hand curled into a fist.

"Ow," she whispered quietly.

Jo leaned against the building, regaining her strength. Sudden realization dawned upon her. She was about to enter a hospital with lots of people who probably have lots of different emotions.
"I'm screwed," she breathed. But she took one last deep breath and walked into the hospital.
She cringed and slowly walked up to the front desk.
"I'm looking for Bell Ember," She said tensly, though she already knew where Bell was. The nurse looked at her funny, then pointed to a room down the hall. She mustered up her last bit of strength and bolted down to Bell's room. She slowly opened the door and poked her head in and smiled.
"Bell!"

Bell attempted a smile, then let out a huffed breath, it was done..for now at least which was refreshing for her.

"Josie!" Bell greeted her, "I'm sorry, it must be terrible being here," She said as she smiled fully at her old friend, "Oh get over here Jo," Jo then walked over and gave Bell a hug.

"I'm a little sweaty," Bell appologized after she finshed hugging her.

"Oh! It's all right," Jo laughed, letting go of Bell "I've missed you bud!"

Bell laughed, "As I have missed you Jo,"

Paul ran into the room. "I'm here!" He said, stroking Bell's hand as he went to her.

"You sure know how to make an enterance dear," Bell breathed lightly taking his hand in hers.
Ruby trailed behind Paul, "I'm here too," She smiled at her friend, "Everything will be okay." Ruby said softly.
"I'm not dying Ruby," Bell reminded her giving her a small smile.

"Hi, I'm Jo," Josie said to Ruby and Paul "Bell's old friend,"

"I'm Paul, Bell's king.." Paul said, smiling.

"Nice to meet you," Jo laughed

Bell elbowed him, "And I'm Bell, his Queen." She smirked pointing to Paul.

Paul grinned...
"I meant you were my slave, but okay.."

(Nwttm chat..)

"Yeah right," Bell snorted a laugh.

"You sounded like a pig." Paul said, smiling.
(Shouldn't Bell be pushing by now?)

((I'm not sure, because to be pushing you gotta be 10 cm dialated and other stuffs....))

"And you look like a Paul," Bell rolled her eyes, then they shut tightly as another contraction came, she sqeezed his hand, while in the back of her mind she was trying to make sure she didn't zap anyone.

Josie clutched her head and sat down on a chair.

Paul held Bell's hand.
The doctor came in.
"6 centimeters...you should be ready in about 2 hours, Mrs. Ember."
The doctor left.

"Two hours?" Bell said in disbelief, her head fell back onto the pillow as she let out a sigh.
