Douglas Alonzoe And Familys residence

Josifina was washing windows,.. again! for the second time that day because Georgianna had smudged the glass with sticky jam fingers.
She was still in a good mood tho. because Douglas would be home soon, and he had promised to take the out for dinner at the Diner.

The doorbell rang.
***BRIING **BRIIING***
Lady Luck was at the door.

Josifina got up to check who was at the door. She knew that it couldn't be Douglas because he would have just walked in, he had a key. She didn't know any of their neighbors yet. Who could it be? She looked out the doors window at the stranger.

Lady Luck saw the face at the window!
SHe waggles her fingers in greeting and holds up the carefully wrapped platter of treats,
"Hello My Name's Charminia Starrs! Welcome to the neighbor hood!"

Josifina was excited and pleased to find that a neighbor wanted to meet her.
She opened the door, and smiled, rather nervously.
"Hi! My name's Jo. How can I help you?"

Lady Luck smiles ever wider.
"Actually I'm just here to welcome you to the neighborhood, and to give you these special cakes that we baked ourself.
She offers the plate to the Jo..
"They taste really good we sampled a few of them ourself, i mean myself.

Jo decides that this lady isn't a phycho freak trying to kill her or anything, so she steps outside and takes the offered plate of treats.
" That's really nice of you, so have you lived here long?"
She holds the plate of treats.

Lady Luck stops smiling, for a second, snaps a finger on a hand concealed behind her back, and smiles again.
"I'm actually new to the neighborhood! I live in the house over that-a-ways!"
She points out a tall house that Jo. hadn't noticed before.
" But I've lived here long enough for everyone to taste my special cakes!"
She waves her hand at the plate in Jo.'s hands.
"You should really try one, I worked all morning on those."

Jo. feels strangely at ease around this lady, so she starts to unwrap the plate.
"ok, I'll have just one , I can't spoil my dinner, My husband is taking me out for dinner tonight."
She takes out a cake it really is small, like a mini muffin.
And she puts it into her mouth; a wonderful sweet rich chocolately flavor fills her mouth.
"Wow!"
She says around a mouthful of chocolately heaven.
"This is really really, REALLY good!"

Lady Luck watched carefully as Jo. swallowed the cake, and she waited for the transformation to occur.
She waited for the woman to turn into a little brown hen.
Of course the effects are only temporary, but it would be fun!
" Oh We know, Because we are the only best cake baker in this galaxy. Have you ever tasted anything quite as good as ours?"

As Jo swallowed she noticed, and thought " the lady is growing taller,.. no wait I'm was the one who is shrinking...My nose feels weird... My clothes are loose, I'm falling ,.AAHH"
out loud all she said was.
"AaAH! ..cluck."
And a little brown hen hopped out of a pile of clothing where Jo had just been standing.
"Mwwrahh, Mwwarraw, cheaer, cheaearah, mwraak."
Jo. hen fluffed her feathers and flapped her wings and in a burst of action flew up into a nearby tree.
She watched the lady on the ground warily.

Lady Luck laughed, she actually doubled over in laughter.
"That never gets old!!!!" She gasps out inbetween almost crazed laughter.
She walks up to the house and picks up her plate.
After picking up her plate she turns to the hen in the tree,
"We really must be going now! Have fun as a 30 minute hen!"
she snaps her fingers and disappears into a silvery mist of magic.

Jo. watches in amazment as the lady disappears.

Jo. is now faced with the problem of getting back into her clothing as a chicken before she turns back into a human, long story short she was human and decent before Douglas got home. lol!
Douglas pulled up in front of his house.
Jo and the kids were waiting out on the front porch,
"Hey guys! get in! It time to go !"
he called to them.
They all got into the truck and drove off.
