"Awesome. I'm 17 going on 18 in a few months." Ruby smiled and her cheeks still felt warm from some of the conversation before.

Whuf nodded.
"Cool. You, uh, you ever seen Bones?"

"The show?" Ruby asked.

Mark walked in, with food for him, Ruby, Noah, and Erika.
"Hey, Rube, I'm home."
He put the food down, and looked at Whuf.
"And you are?" He said, feeling a ting of something because this guy was near Ruby.
Jealousy?

Whuf sat up.
"Whuf. Warren Uffunion if you want to be formal."
He looked at Ruby.
"When I'm legal I'm changing it."

"Hey Mark," Ruby smiled gratefully up at him.
"He said he is one of Paul's friends..." Ruby looked at Mark for confirmation.

"Well, Whuf, if you don't mind me asking, how exactly did you get in here?"
Noah and Erika walked out of the gameroom, holding hands.
"Oh really?" He said. "Where'd you meet Paul?"

"To answer your first question, I'm good with doors. Two, hospital. I, uh.."
He looked a tad ashamed.

Ruby cocked her head in wonderment.
"You what?"

"Yeah, what did you do?" Mark said, already not believing that some stranger got past the security system.

"Well, it's nothing really." He said to Ruby. "I get blood transfusions every week."
He shrugged.
"Paul was nearby, neither of us had anyone to talk to.. Yeah."
He looked at Mark.
"I see how things work. Like your little rock condition."

Ruby just kinda sat there in the middle of things.

Mark emulated fury, but didn't show it on his face.
"Oh really?" He said.
"Well, maybe we should call Paul and tell him that his friend stopped by for a visit."
"Oh, wait, when he was in a coma?" Noah asked.

Whuf nodded.
"No. When he broke his arm. As such."

OOC: Give me something... I want this to seem believable for a time!

OOC:He broke his arm. (I just fabricated it into reality)
Mark's hard to convince..but eh, it's possible.

BIC:
"When he broke his arm? Oh yeah.." Mark said, still untrusting of the guy.

Whuf shrugged.
"Heh. Yeah. So, you guys heroes? Oh, sorry, is there code?"

"Naw, I'm the only one here." Mark said, unknowing if Whuf knew about Paul.

Whuf nodded.
"Cool! I WOULD be a hero, but what knowing how things work ain't that much.."

"Oh, I'm sure it'd help. Maybe you could be a sidekick. Wouldn't you know weaknesses and all that?" Mark asked quaintly.
OOC:As long as you don't look like Querrain, you can fool Paul.
But I would change your voice too.

OOC: No, no, how he looked and sounded to everyone else was Chaos's doing. He's shorter, his hair is a different texture, his voice and face is different...
There are very slight similarities.

IC: "Sidekick? Ah, maybe.. I dunno... I've never tried to see weaknesses."
He shook his head.
"No, my mom would freak."

Ruby just listened and thought about each statement And wondered if she was lied to but doubted it

Whuf shifted in his seat uncomfortably.
"Well.. I'm no doctor... But it looks like certain cells are glued to your nervous system?"

Mark looked at him.
"Oh...that's not what Dr. Superhero said.." Mark said, but this kid's power probably knew more.

"And why would your mom freak?" Ruby asked

Whuf raised an eyebrow. "Dr. Superhero? What in Hell?"
He looked at Ruby.
"Ah, she's been real protective about me since she found out that I have SCD."

Ruby raised her eyebrows. "SCD? Never heard of that one."

Whuf chuckled at what Mark said, then turned to Ruby.
"SCD: Sickle Cell Disease. Shortens the life span."
